I wanted to take a moment and reflect on the past year. While the talking heads on the boob tube like to play up negativity, we really feel things are not as bad as it sounds, and many people are doing well and prospering.

Just remember that when one door closes, another opens. I have lost my job many times in my 49 years, and I always pulled up my bootstraps and made a go of it. Cycles come & go. I don’t want a handout from the Government; I want to be left to making it on my own. Sink or swim, because I will never give up.

If you made a ton of money in the last few years, that’s great, though always be ready for things to change & doing something different. The whole reason I started this company is because I knew I had to go back to working for myself. My day job went from $150,000 a year to $85,000, down to $40,000; poverty for Southern California.

It’s been reported that MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski was mugged outside a well-known Washington hotel while waiting for a car to pick her up for the 6 a.m.

Brzezinski, who co-hosts a morning show called “Morning Joe,” met her morning Joe, some punk who mugged her for $6 bucks.

I have been to DC once, and there are some scary parts, yet this was in front of a Hilton hotel.

Because of the brutally restrictive laws on self defense products like pepper sprays and stun guns in New York, there is no shortage of fodder for my blog. Now we read about some poor old guy who was hit in the face so hard by a punk he died.

Where the hell is Bernard Goetz when you need him???

Queens Man Dies From Punch To Face, Police Say
A man has been arrested in Queens, facing charges he killed another man by punching him in the face with extreme force.

The 66-year-old victim, Nick Nowillo, was allegedly escorting a neighborhood woman home on Cresent Avenue in Long Island City late Wednesday. The woman told police she had asked for the help because the suspect, who has not been identified, was seen in the street acting strangely.

At some point Nowillo was confronted by his accused attacker and was hit several times, including with a powerful punch to the face, police said. He collapsed to the ground and died at Astoria General Hospital a short time later.

Thanks to the wonderful politicians of NY, you can not own any type of stun gun like the 1 Million Volt Hot Shot Stun Gun or the TASER C2. None, or you are a criminal. If you want to buy some Wildfire 18% Pepper Spray, you have to track down a gun dealer, who I am sure are on every corner…

New York is turning more and more into a cesspool, and now we read in the Hampton’s of all places, some punk murdered a 100 year old lady that was someone’s grandmother. Isn’t that a little extreme? Could she even walk? NY makes it hard to pack a hand gun, so unless you have some non lethal self defense tools, you will be a victim every time.

NORTH HAVEN, N.Y. (CBS) ― She may be the oldest murder victim in New York state history.

Police are hunting for the gunman who killed a 100-year-old woman in her home in the Hamptons.

CBS 2 HD got reaction Monday from stunned neighbors.

Just over the bridge and off a peninsula from Sag Harbor, the tiny 2-and-half square mile village of North Haven, where residents were stunned to learn of the murder of one of East End’s oldest residents.

“Obviously, this type of crime is out of character for the area, but also a 100-year-old woman being shot is unique,” said Suffolk County Homicide Det. Lt. Jack Fitzpatrick.

Jessie Burke celebrated her 100th birthday on Aug. 7. Three and half weeks later the matriarch of a well known family here was found shot dead in the back of the head, sitting in a chair in the den of her daughter’s home on Payne Avenue.

This punk needs some swift justice with a prolonged, session of being Tasered for an hour, then give him some opium and start with a death by 1,000 slices, to be finished off by being drawn and quartered.

One of the saddest stories we have seen in a while, besides our next post about an attack on an elderly women by a punk in NY, involved a wacked out crack head in a violent road rage incident that resulted in murder and injury to multiple people in Bartow Florida.

Florida is about to overtake Arizona as having more freaks, nuts, perverts, and weirdos than anywhere else on earth. All of our posts seem to focus on what appears to be a state gone wild.

Man accused of killing one person, stabbing two others

Deputies arrested a man they said killed a woman and attacked several members of her family.

According to deputies’ reports, the victims, driving in two vehicles, were traveling through Haines City late Sunday night. Mario Despaigne, 41, was driving a black Nissan, accompanied by his wife, Odalis Cespedes, also 41, and their six-month-old granddaughter. They were followed by a silver Toyota driven by the child’s father, 21-year old Angel Gonzales, and her mother, 19-year-old Ivon Despaigne.

Deputies said the cars stopped at the intersection of Lake Hatchineha Road and Watkins Road when a third vehicle, a green minivan driven by 26-year-old Casey Till, rear-ended the Toyota. They said that, when the couple got out of the car to investigate, for reasons that are not yet known, Till began attacking them.

Huh? A guy out of his mind on crack slams into a car, gets violent, then jumps into the car he hits and runs down a mother trying to escape from another car???

If only someone had something to stop this punk. A hand gun is ideal, though something as simple as a Wildfire 18% Pepper Spray on your keychain would stop him. Police: Woman Kills Boyfriend In Self-Defense
No Arrests Made In Homicide
METAIRIE, La. — Police in Metairie said a woman shot and killed her boyfriend on Sunday in self-defense.

Officers responded to apartments on the 3900 block of South Interstate 10 Service Road just before 8 a.m.

Police found a man shot in his upper torso. He was taken to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An old friend of mine shot her ex-boyfriend with a shotgun after he would not leave her alone. I think only 1 or 2 pellets hit him, though he went down. She was never the same after that. Her life spun out of control with booze and drugs and I heard she was not doing too well. She had to defend herself with a gun and it really got to her.

Then we got a phone order over the weekend for a TASER C2 from a lady who bought it for her girlfriend who’s ex was threatening her. I told her that it’s small enough to keep with you all the time; better safe than dead.
