I worked for a company that paid a wage that included housing in company owned apartment complex. I was the victim of a home invasion type robbery where I was beaten and robbed. Is the company responsible at all?

How many times do you have to get hit before you can call it self defense? Like in school if someone hits you and you fight back you both get suspended but i think if you get hit a certain number of times you don’t get in trouble because its self defense. Does anyone know how many times you have to get hit to call it self defense?
I’ve heard 3 and 7 but im not sure

my son is in jail and he is charged w robbery reside home invasion w/o weapon than we find this aggravated assault -weapon w/deadly weapon what are we looking at he has never been in trouble and he never had a weapon one of the other people did please I need answers cause this mom is going crazy

I do know that it is legal to carry one in California “concealed or unconcealed” but I do not know how old you have to be to own one?

If another crosses the line and does use electronic devices to enter into your home and collect information about any thing at all it is illegal. If they use it to contact the people that you contact is that a crime. If they feel there is a need such as worst case scenario is it still a crime. If they do take and it is proven is it not home invasion with circumstances of robbery..Then to have the very people stalk you for only disruption and confuse issues about there invasion and or the need to cover a crime worst case murder. What if they gather information that there is a reward for the capture or the info leading to a solved crime is it right that they will collect or try to and if they did is that not grand larceny. The minimum amount on a federal is 10. 000 if that is correct then would not the people involved in this act be nothing but criminals. If the need is to paperstein you to prision no matter what l;aws they break or if they try to get a peice of paper a heart beat .

What defense can be used when one assaults someone to protect a loved one? I have heard it called self-defense but I’m not sure that’s right.
In this particular case the attacker says he blacked out and cannot remember what happened. When the police arrived he, his pregnant lover, and the victim were the only ones in the house. His lover was unconscious after an alleged attack by the victim, the attacker entered the house, claims he saw the victim standing over his lover and cannot remember anything until the police arrived. Could you use a self-defense plea, or possibly a mental disease or defect plea? What defense would be more substantial and can you quote a case were this plea was used and successful?
Also, the lover cannot remember anything beyond arriving at the house. She does not recall being attacked, although there are injuries. The police found that the victim in this case was the father of the baby and think that is possibly motive for the attacker. The attacker claims he had no knowledge on this fact until after he was arrested.

he has around 3 prior felony convictions already. served 52 months in prison and absconded from parole during his last crime spree
please im not looking for comments on his actions i know he deserves a long sentance i just want to know how long he is facing
it was an elderly lady in her home. he took her purse with cash ,credit cadrs. charged aprox 1200.00 on card also stole her car
