Voice Alert Silent Alarm Helps Catch A Thief

Posted By admin

Our series on burgularies on the rise has no shortage of fodder. Today we find someone stealing copper out of someones truck. Seems this guy in Arizona is tired of punks ripping off his property, so he set up a silent alarm system and a hidden camera.

Tempe homeowner uses hidden technology to catch a thief

A Valley homeowner tired of being a victim of crime used hidden technology on Tuesday to catch a thief. That homeowner’s actions are now under investigation by police because he also fired a gunshot.

Police said at about 4 a.m. Tuesday morning, 23-year-old Daniel Holmes attempted to steal copper from the bed of the 27-year-old homeowner’s truck. The homeowner was alerted because he had previously set up a silent alarm and camera system due to previous thefts from his truck which he parked outside his home near Price and Broadway roads.

I like how he prevented the punk from escaping…

As Holmes started his engine, the homeowner fired several shots into the hood, which disabled the vehicle.

That’s how you protect your property from crime; you install the simple tools to keep the unemployed off your property so you can sleep at night & if needed, you have your weapon to seal the deal.

Now, if they step one foot on your property, you will be notified so you can do somethign about this. The Voice Alert Driveway & Home Alarm System will blanket your home with an invisible field that will trigger you that something is going on.

The Voice Alert Driveway & Home Alarm System

The Voice Alert Driveway & Home Alarm System will alert you when a human or a car is coming up the driveway, or if some punk goes inside your tool shed, or approachs the front or back door. No matter if someone enters your garage, or Visitors are walking to the front door, you will know when someone comes on the property.

Voice Alert Driveway & Home Alarm System is a new annunciator system featuring wireless Infrared sensors transmitters and a remote receiver/speaker base unit. An annunciator is kind of like a telephone switchboard, and in this case, the infrared sensors send a signal to a base station and depending on which zone it is, a light will let you know where on your property is the intruder.

You can set up one zone for the driveway, one zone for the back yard, one zone for the side door, and one zone the tool shed. Each zone will be numbered on the base station and you will be notified with a pre-recorded message as to where they are. You can record your own alert messages and you are then notified with your own voice message when activity in a monitored area is detected.

For example, when motion is detected coming up your driveway, the alert could say, “Motion detected in the driveway,” or something similar.

Voice Alert Driveway & Home Alarm sets up in minutes and can be completely customized to fit their individual needs. The wireless PIRs feature: all weather protection, adjustable mounting and sensitivity, and can send a signal 300 feet through walls and up to 1000 feet in open space.

There is a FAQ on our website if you have any questions on the Voice Alert Driveway & Home Alarm System, otherwise if you are considering something to watch over your property, the Voice Alert is not going to break the bank. What Is The CyberEye ECO?

Posted By admin

If you need to monitor your home or business from burglars or fire, you can install an expensive alarm system, though there would be monthly fees of about $35, and they don’t offer automatic fire detection. A great product that is designed to protect your home from intruders and fire, and has no monthly fees, is the CyberEye ECO.

CyberEye ECO

The CyberEye ECO is a tiny white device about 3 x 2 inches that monitors your property. It is small and discrete and can be set in an out of the way place to watch over your house when you go to work, or your office or business when you go home. It is an autodialer that monitors your property 24/7/365. An autodialer is something that dials a pre-programmed number when something happens.

The CyberEye ECO works in three ways:

  • Motion detector to detect movement
  • Thermal detector to detect fire
  • Microphone to listen to the surrounding area

The motion detector will detect any movement up to about 15 feet or 5 meters from the front of the device. It has a 90 degree field of view, and can be adjusted up or down to point at what you want it to “see.”

There is a thermal detector that will detect heat from a fire. The CyberEye ECO is smart enough to know to call a different number if it is a fire or an intruder.

When motion or heat is detected, the CyberEye ECO has an internal auto dialer that will call up to five pre-programmed phone numbers, and let you know with one of two pre-recorded messages that there is an intruder in your home or office, or there is a fire and give you time to call the police or fire department, possibly saving your property or house.

You can program the first two numbers to call your and your spouses cell phone, call three can be sent to call a different number depending on the emergency. If it detects heat, it calls the fire department, the police if an intruder, and you can hook up sensors that can even call the gas company if it smells gas.

The CyberEye ECO also has a microphone and speaker, allowing you to monitor the room and person who is there, as well as the ability for two-way communication. It will allow you to listen to what is going on, and actually talk to who is there! You can tell them you called 911, and police are on their way.

It hooks up easy to your phone line, and runs off of two AA batteries that last up to six months. It connects directly to the phone line, and has an extra jack to hook up an external phone.

If you want a low cost system that constantly scans your property for intruders or fire, you can find out more information on the CyberEye ECO on our website.

Fixing Broken Windows

Posted By admin

I was reading an article called Our country’s broken windows, which had a link to an article about the man in Pasadena, CA who heard people breaking into the neighbors property & took the punks down.

Shooting of theft suspects may test self-defense law

In a case legal experts say may “stretch the limits” of the state’s self-defense laws, a Pasadena man shot and killed two suspected burglars during a confrontation as they attempted to flee his neighbor’s property Wednesday afternoon.

In the minutes before the fatal shootings, Pasadena police said the man called 911 and reported that he had heard glass breaking next door and saw two men entering the home through a window. Still on the phone with police, the man, believed to be in his 70s, saw the suspects leaving from the back of the home.

“I’m getting my gun and going to stop them,” the neighbor told the dispatcher during the 2 p.m. call, according to Vance Mitchell, a spokesman for Pasadena police. “The dispatcher said, ‘No, stay inside the house; officers are on the way.’

“Then you hear him rack the shotgun. The next sound the dispatcher heard was a boom. Then there was silence for a couple of seconds and then another boom.” After the shotgun blasts, the telephone line went dead. But the neighbor called police again and told a dispatcher what he had done.

Good shooting by the old timer. I go back to the original article I read that talked about when one broken window is allowed to stay in a neighborhood, it perpetuates more crime. One leads to two, leads to four, and graffiti goes unpainted also. It breeds crime, and when robberies happen and we do nothing, it just encourages more and more crime in your neighborhood. This has to stop, and while this man took it to the extreme, we hope it’s a reminder to the punks out there that many of us have weapons, lethal, and non-lethal, and we won’t hesitate to use them.

A good idea would be to know all your neighbors and introduce yourself to them. Watch out for each other, and form a block-watch if needed. Arm yourself with whatever your state allows you to have. If you have the ability to own a weapon, get trained, and practice using it, so it’s familiar to you when you need it.

A great way to monitor your home, vacation home, or office when you are not there, is to have a motion activated auto dialer call you when movement is detected. There are several available for less than $1oo, and one of the most simplest is the HomeSafe Auto Dialer With Security/Safety Alarm.

This is a neat product that uses Infared Sensors to monitor an area, and will dial your phone number if someone enters. The HomeSafe Auto Dialer will also sound a very loud alarm to let the neighbors know something is going on.

For people on a budget, or living in an apartment, or just looking for an inexpensive alarm for a vacation home or office, the HomeSafe Auto Dialer Alarm is a great choice.

AutoDialer With Alarm

I suggest you personally visit your neighbors and introduce yourself, then tell them that if they watch your back, you will watch theirs. Exchange phone numbers, and if you are called by the HomeSafe Auto Dialer, immediatly call your neighbors and tell them to watch out for someone exiting your home. Then, you might get a license plate from the punk to go after and get them thrown in jail.

For the next seven days, we will take an additional 10% off the regular price for anyone who orders the HomeSafe Auto Dialer. Protect your property and Defend Thyself…
